Sentry Concepts
Effective Date: August 27, 2026
Last Updated: September 11, 2026
We want customers to understand our refund, return, cancellation, and transfer policies before making a purchase. Because Sentry Concepts offers regulated firearms and ammunition, ordinary merchandise, digital products, and scheduled training programs, different rules apply depending on the product or service purchased. By completing a purchase or registering for training, you agree to this Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy and our Terms & Conditions.
1. Firearm Orders
Firearms are regulated products and are not treated as ordinary retail merchandise. Customers should carefully confirm the firearm, model, caliber, configuration, receiving FFL, and applicable legal restrictions before placing an order.
Firearm Cancellation Before Shipment
A firearm order may be canceled before shipment by contacting Sentry Concepts. If cancellation is requested before the firearm has shipped, Sentry Concepts may deduct a 10% cancellation fee from the refund to cover order processing, payment-processing expenses, inventory allocation, compliance review, and administrative costs. We may waive this fee at our discretion.
No cancellation fee will be charged when Sentry Concepts cancels an order because the item is unavailable, we made a material listing or fulfillment error, we cannot fulfill the order for reasons attributable to Sentry Concepts, or we determine before fulfillment that the transaction cannot lawfully be completed and the customer did not cause the issue through inaccurate or incomplete information.
2. Firearm Orders After Shipment
Once a firearm has been shipped to a receiving Federal Firearms Licensee (“FFL”), it cannot be canceled or redirected as an ordinary merchandise order. If cancellation is requested after shipment but before transfer, the firearm must remain with the receiving FFL and be lawfully returned to Sentry Concepts. A refund will not be issued until Sentry Concepts receives and inspects the firearm and confirms it is in the condition in which it was shipped, subject to reasonable FFL handling.
Unless the return resulted from an error by Sentry Concepts, the customer is responsible for original shipping, return shipping, receiving-FFL fees, other non-refundable third-party charges, and a 15% restocking fee. Any remaining refundable amount will be returned to the original payment method.
3. Background-Check Denials and Failed Firearm Transfers
Payment for a firearm does not guarantee that the customer will legally qualify to receive it. If a customer is denied during a legally required background-check or transfer process, the firearm must remain with the FFL and may not be released. A refund will be processed only after the firearm has been returned to and received by Sentry Concepts.
Unless prohibited by law or waived by Sentry Concepts, refunds resulting from a denied or failed transfer are subject to deduction of original shipping, return shipping, receiving-FFL charges for which Sentry Concepts becomes responsible, other non-refundable transaction expenses, and a 15% restocking fee. A background-check delay is not considered a denial and does not automatically entitle the purchaser to cancel without otherwise applicable charges.
4. Failure to Complete a Firearm Transfer
Customers are responsible for promptly completing the transfer process. Failure to contact or appear at the receiving FFL, provide required identification or documentation, complete required procedures, or otherwise complete the transfer may be treated as a customer-requested cancellation. If the firearm has shipped, it must first be lawfully returned before any refund is processed. Applicable shipping, third-party, FFL, and restocking charges may be deducted.
5. Receiving FFL Refuses or Cannot Accept the Firearm
Customers should confirm their selected FFL is willing and legally able to accept the firearm before ordering. If the selected FFL refuses or cannot accept the firearm before shipment, the customer may provide another eligible FFL. If the firearm has already shipped and must be returned because of customer-selected FFL issues or inaccurate information, the transaction may be treated as a customer-requested cancellation and applicable charges may apply. If the issue resulted from a Sentry Concepts error, the customer will not be responsible for additional shipping or restocking charges.
6. Inspect Firearms Before Accepting Transfer
Customers should inspect a firearm at the receiving FFL before completing the transfer. If the firearm is wrong, materially different from the item ordered, visibly damaged in shipping, or affected by a fulfillment error attributable to Sentry Concepts, the customer should not complete the transfer and should contact us promptly. Photographs of the firearm, packaging, and damage should be provided whenever possible.
7. Firearms After Transfer
All firearm sales are final once the firearm has been legally transferred to the purchaser, except where otherwise required by law or expressly authorized by Sentry Concepts. Firearms may not be returned after transfer for buyer’s remorse, preference, fit or comfort, observable cosmetic preference, or similar reasons unrelated to a Sentry Concepts error.
8. Defective Firearms and Manufacturer Warranties
If a firearm develops a mechanical or manufacturing problem after transfer, the issue may be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Sentry Concepts will reasonably assist with warranty matters when appropriate but does not control manufacturer approval, repair, replacement, or timing.
9. Ammunition
Unless otherwise required by law, ammunition sales are final once shipped or transferred. Ammunition generally cannot be returned or exchanged because of safety, storage, chain-of-custody, and product-integrity concerns. Customers are responsible for confirming caliber, gauge, cartridge, product type, and compatibility before purchasing. If Sentry Concepts ships the wrong ammunition or it is damaged in transit, contact us promptly.
10. Magazines and Other Regulated Products
Customers are responsible for determining whether magazines, firearm components, accessories, defensive products, and other regulated products are lawful in their jurisdiction. Orders that cannot lawfully be fulfilled may be canceled. Orders already shipped or returned because of inaccurate customer information or failure to confirm restrictions may be subject to shipping and reasonable restocking costs.
11. Ordinary Physical Merchandise
For physical merchandise that is not a firearm, ammunition, or another product designated as final sale, returns may be requested within 14 calendar days of delivery. Eligible merchandise must be unused, unworn where applicable, uninstalled, undamaged, in resalable condition, and in original packaging with included parts, manuals, tags, and accessories where applicable. Customers must contact Sentry Concepts before sending a return. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
Unless the return resulted from our error or a defective product, the customer is responsible for return shipping. Original shipping charges are not refundable unless the return resulted from our error.
12. Non-Returnable Physical Products
- Firearms after legal transfer;
- Ammunition;
- Used or installed firearm components;
- Used safety or protective equipment;
- Personalized or custom-made items;
- Engraved products;
- Clearance or final-sale items identified as such;
- Products damaged through misuse, improper installation, neglect, modification, or improper storage; and
- Other products expressly identified as final sale before purchase.
13. Incorrect, Damaged, or Missing Merchandise
If you receive an incorrect product, a materially shipping-damaged product, or an incomplete order, contact Sentry Concepts as soon as reasonably possible. Retain the product, original packaging, shipping label, packing materials, and photographs where applicable. Do not discard damaged packaging until the issue is resolved. If Sentry Concepts made the fulfillment error, we will provide an appropriate replacement, correction, or refund without charging return shipping or a restocking fee.
14. Digital Products and Downloadable Content
Because digital products can ordinarily be accessed, downloaded, copied, or consumed immediately, digital products are non-refundable once access or delivery has been provided, except where required by law. If you accidentally purchase the same digital product more than once, are charged incorrectly, or cannot access the product because of a technical problem attributable to Sentry Concepts, contact us so we can correct the issue.
15. In-Person Training — Participant Cancellations
Unless different terms are disclosed for a specific course: cancellation at least 7 calendar days before class is eligible for a refund or full course credit; cancellation less than 7 days but more than 72 hours before class is not eligible for a cash refund but may be transferred one time as course credit; cancellation within 72 hours is not eligible for a refund or course credit.
16. Training No-Shows
No-shows are not eligible for refunds, credits, or transfers to another course.
17. Late Arrival and Failure to Complete Training
Participants are responsible for arriving on time. A participant who arrives too late to safely or legally participate may be denied entry and treated as a no-show. Participants who voluntarily leave before completing a course are not entitled to a refund or credit unless otherwise approved.
18. Removal From Training
Sentry Concepts may immediately remove a participant for unsafe firearm handling, failure to follow safety rules or instructor commands, reckless or threatening behavior, harassment, intoxication or impairment, illegal activity, or other conduct creating unreasonable safety or operational risk. Participants removed for these reasons are not eligible for a refund or course credit.
19. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Sentry Concepts
Sentry Concepts may cancel or reschedule a course because of insufficient enrollment, instructor illness or unavailability, severe weather, facility closure, equipment or safety issues, government restrictions, emergencies, or other circumstances making the course impractical or unsafe. When we cancel a course and do not provide an acceptable replacement date, participants may choose a full refund or full credit. If rescheduled, participants who cannot attend the new date may request a refund or credit.
Sentry Concepts is not responsible for incidental expenses such as travel, lodging, ammunition purchased elsewhere, meals, childcare, or lost wages except where otherwise required by law.
20. Course-Specific Guarantees
Sentry Concepts does not provide a blanket satisfaction or results guarantee for all training. If a specific course is advertised with a guarantee, those disclosed terms apply only to that course.
21. Private Training, Group Training, and Special Events
Private classes, corporate training, group events, custom workshops, range reservations, and specially scheduled programs may have separate deposits, minimum enrollment requirements, cancellation deadlines, rescheduling terms, or non-refundable expenses. Special written terms disclosed in a proposal, invoice, registration page, or agreement control over the general training cancellation provisions of this policy.
22. Refund Method
Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method used for the transaction. We may require reasonable verification before issuing a refund. Refund timing may vary by payment provider, card issuer, bank, or financial institution.
23. Shipping Charges and Third-Party Fees
Unless the return or cancellation resulted from an error by Sentry Concepts, original shipping charges are non-refundable, return shipping may be deducted, receiving-FFL fees are the customer’s responsibility, government fees are not refundable by Sentry Concepts, shipping carrier charges already incurred may be non-refundable, and other transaction-specific third-party expenses may be deducted where permitted.
24. Fraud, Abuse, and Improper Returns
Sentry Concepts reserves the right to refuse a refund or return where we reasonably determine a request involves fraud, chargeback abuse, product substitution, intentional damage, false representations, unauthorized modification, return of a different product than sold, or other material abuse of this policy. Nothing in this provision limits legitimate consumer rights or legitimate payment disputes.
25. How to Request a Cancellation, Return, or Refund
Contact Sentry Concepts, Michigan, USA. Website: sentry-concepts.com. Email: Returns@sentry-concepts.com. Phone: (269) 838-9951. Please provide your name, order or registration number, product or course involved, reason for the request, and relevant photographs or documentation when applicable. Do not ship firearms or other regulated products to Sentry Concepts without receiving return instructions first.
26. Relationship to Other Policies
This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Shipping & FFL Transfer Policy, Privacy Policy, Ammunition Age & ID Verification Policy, and any course-specific registration terms, waivers, or agreements. If a specific product, promotion, class, or custom service clearly states different terms before purchase, those specific terms govern that transaction.
